Q.    Do I require a fishing license?

A.    Yes, Ministry of Natural Resources requires all anglers in Ontario between the ages of 16-65 years old to have a valid Fishing license.
July 2 to 10 is License free week.  No License is required during this week only. Licenses are available at Canadian Tire and online at https://www2.on.wildlifelicense.com/start.php?lang=1 .
A one day license is available.
Only people who intend to fish require a fishing license.

Q.    I have never fished before. Do I need experience?

A.    No experience is necessary. Our qualified crew will be with you every step of the way helping you successfully land your fish.

Q.    Do I need to bring a fishing rod?

A.     No. We supply top of the line Okuma rods and reels and Michigan Stinger tackle to help you catch the big ones.

Q.    What if the weather is bad the day of our charter?

A.    We constantly monitor the weather. If the captain feels it is unsafe to go out, we will notify you prior to your arrival. If the weather is inclimante both of our boats are equipped with generators and spacious salons with plenty seating to escape the heat or hot days or stay warm and dry on cool damp days.  If your charter is cancelled due to unsafe water conditions, we will be glad to reschedule your trip.  If you group is not able to reschedule, your deposit will be refunded in full.

Q.    Is there a washroom on board?

A.     Yes. Both “UnReel” and “Reel Deal” each have two fully equipped washrooms on board. One for the men and one for the ladies.  Our washrooms are clean, roomy and modern for your comfort.

Q.    Do I need to bring anything?

A.     Here is a list of what to consider bringing.
•    Jacket. Remember it is usually cooler on the water.
•    Your muscles to reel in the “Big One”
•    Sunscreen
•    Sunglasses
•    Hat
•    Soft sole shoes (No hard soled shoes please)
•    Camera
•    Cooler to take your fish home
•    Your favourite music
•    Sandwiches and snacks (if not catered)
•    Pop, bottled water and coffee is supplied by us on each charter
